What The Bylaw Addresses
Every pawnbroker and second-hand dealer records item description (make/model/serial), price paid or credit extended, precise date/time, and the seller's name, address, signature, and government-issued photo ID details.
Any peace officer may demand the register at reasonable times during business hours, and may remove it for up to 72 hours for inspection at police headquarters.
